Ride Cancelled 2/24/10 Weather/Rain in the Forecast

Cuyamaca Lake Ride, scheduled to occur on Saturday, February 27, 2010 9:30 AM has been cancelled. Please update your plans accordingly.

It is going to rain on Saturday 2/27/10, or in the higher elevation be rather cold, with sand on the road from possible snow. We were also going to eat out on the patio at the Restaurant at the Cyuamaca Lake, so that would also be cold.

This is a great ride when the Spring Weather comes around! Trust me you will appreciate it when there is sun in our face. Thanks Loliner

We will head out on 79 toward Julian, catch Sunrise Hwy, stopping at Cuyamaca Restaurant for lunch, then back to Temecula via 76. If there is time, we may catch some twisties (Engineers and Mesa Grande) after lunch. Looks like the ride is about 175 miles.

Redhog, This is the route we took last year when you & Diane rode and Jack lead the ride over by where the Hang Gliders jump, Sunrise Hwy. It was a fun ride! Loliner
