Several riders were stopped (including myself)on Sat. Most were ridding in the Semper Fi, wounded warriors poker run.I've seen this type of stricter enforcement from time to time. If you plan on meet ups and being in the old town area make sure your "stuff" is in order. I'd say there biggest beef(s) were 1) Too Loud 2) Non DOT helmets and over the limit Ape Hanggers. A few were being given road-side tests. On the other side, if you were not suspected of any violation(s)you were left alone. My helmet was DOT approved but the DOT decal is gone. like I said keep your stuff in order
Thx for the heads up Mike
"Approximately half of the fatal traffic accidents within the City of Temecula over the last year involved motorcyclists. "
I wonder what that number actually is. Anyone know how to find out?
Mike
Temecula contracts with the Riverside County Sheriff, so I imagine it's somewhere within the Sheriff's department.
It's good enough for government work...
