Yesterday, the club did a ride south to the Eastlake Bonita area of San Diego County, for lunch at The Brewhouse at Eastlake.
It was probably the warmest/sunniest day of 2010 thus far, with temperatures reaching into the 70s.
We counted 14 bikes in all that made the ride.
The route went along some the more twisty roads in San Diego County, Rice Canyon, Mesa Grande, Hwy 79 (south of Julian), as well as some of the easier back roads like Japatul Valley Rd, Lyons Valley Rd, Honey Springs Rd, Otay Lakes Rd.
The
Brewhouse at Eastlake turned out to be a great place to host a large group of motorcycle riders, with a large outdoor covered patio, plenty of parking, and a large menu, and pretty much everything to please anyone.
On the way back, we took some freeways to get up to Hwy 76, and then we rode the 76 to Highland Valley Rd, Bandy Canyon Rd, and up into Lilac, and West Lilac Rd.
We finished up the day at Barley & Hops over some beer, pizza, and salad, and some games of pool and foosball.
